MEASURING YOUR OWN CUSHIONS

If your cushions are the traditional rectangular, ‘T’ or ‘L’ shaped type WITHOUT curves, then we
simply ask you to draw sketches on our Order Form, (similar to those shown here) indicating the thickness you require, what grade you have chosen and if you require dacron wrapping and stockenette undercovers.

Traditional shaped cushions, like the drawings on the right, require only sketches - and not templates. >>>>>>


CURVED CUSHION SHAPES - REQUIRING A PAPER TEMPLATE

If your cushions have any curves like these below then you will need to make a template. To do this follow the instructions below.

1 First remove the foam from its outer cover. Using newspaper/wallpaper or suitable material lay the paper on the floor and draw around the shape of the foam using a clear mark.

2.
Cut the shape out of the paper and check it for size by placing back on the cushion/furniture.

3.
Cushions can become slightly out of shape with constant use, if you fold your template in half you can check that it is symmetrical (right side same as left side) and alter to fit if necessary.

4.
On your templates, write your name, the
thickness of foam you require, the grade of foam you have chosen and if you require
dacron and stockenette to be fitted.
